I think you're mixing several concepts that don't necessarily prove anything. A crystal has no brain or heart....it isn't even alive...... yet it grows into seemingly miraculous shapes. The entire process is a chemical process easily explained and demonstrably true. The fact that an oak tree grows from an acorn is no more or less explainable. Evolution (vs creation) is an explanation of *how it began*, not how it works. We all agree on the bio-physical process, the question is whether a supreme being made it, or it "evolved" over millions of years.
In support of evolution, one might ask why else there are so many varieties of oak. Red oak, white oak, pin oak, black oak, bur oak, etc. This is perfectly explained through evolution, but one might ask if the Creator couldn't make up it's mind. Actually, evolution and creationism don't have to be mutually exclusive. What's to say that God didn't make a creation that was flexible enough to adapt....through evolution?
