    you would usually apply on company sites. if they don't have them listed for intern positions, they aren't looking for one.

    though, if you are in school, you can talk with a professor in your field or counselor, maybe they work with companies local or national that will take on interns. or maybe if they have job fairs where recruiters and other companies come in for students to apply and share information. ask around.
