How do cops find the suspect who broke in to your car?
Some one broke in to my friend's car but didn't leave a finger print and didn't take anything. Also there were no people there at that time and no camera. How would they catch?

they won't
they will not even try -- government employees do not care about your car
and then the guy if caught gets right out of jail because the system is based on easy work not your property rights

They wouldn't, even if he left finger prints all over the place they wouldn't catch him. They wouldn't waste too much time or energy catching the guy who looked around your friends car and didn't take anything. They'll take a report but that's about it.

In the case you describe, there are ZERO leads to follow and even if the person was caught, it would be impossible to prove the case. Beyond filing a report that would not be followed up on, there is literally NOTHING they can do.

They aren't too likely to bother since nothing was taken. It's of very low priority.

If no one was harmed and nothing was taken, then that is not the sort of crime that the police will do anything about.

It would be difficult with no forensics or witnesses.
