Yes, it is deeply offensive especially when it comes from the lips of politicians who are scared witless of acknowledging that Christians are being persecuted and by Islamic terrorists.
The people (men, women and children) who were murdered in various churches in Sri Lanka on Sunday were Christians. They were not worshipping Easter, which is a pagan and now secular event. They were rejoicing over the resurrection of Christ Jesus, not some pagan fertility goddess.
Hillary Clinton tweeted this message: "I'm praying for everyone affected by today's horrific attacks on Easter worshippers and travellers in Sri Lanka."
Easter worshippers? When the mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, were attacked and people shot down, did the politicians or liberal media talk of "Ramadan worshippers"? No, of course not! The victims were Muslims.
Make no mistake, the majority of the victims of this terrorist attack were CHRISTIANS. They were not "Easter worshippers". Shame on all politicians and liberals who are too afraid to speak the truth because they don't want to give offence. Offend whom? Terrorists?
