Why do idiots support a $15/hr minimum wage when it has been proven to only cause economic issues?

States that did it have more automation happening, more jobs leaving them, prices increasing a lot, meanwhile states like Texas are scoring economically!

Places like CT are only going to lose more people. There’s no hope for that state. Glad I live in Florida

Prices aren’t going to increase proportionately with the pay increases, so price increases won’t eat away all of the additional pay.

Show us your proof. You should realise that saying there's proof of something and then not showing us does not constitute proof.

It's like if I said leprechauns must exist because there's proof they exist but then I didn't say what that proof was.

You're correct that Texas has an excellent economy. Is the same for the other states with a lower minimum wage?

Haven't read the study where less dividends re-routed to the employees instead made for a bad business model.

The minimum wage has never been 15 dollars an hour. It can't be proven unless there was a time there was a 15 dollar minimum wage.

People generally think McDonald's corporation sells hamburgers. No, it sells franchises. The stores are owned by small business owners. If an owner makes $200k and his employees are artificially raised from $10/hour to $15, the owner's net pay goes from $200k to zero. He can only raise prices which would kill the fast food industry or he can lay off one-third of his work force and fire workers who cannot produce at a 50% higher rate.
