2 tangents are drawn from the point P(-3,8) to the curve y²=12x. Find the gradient of this circle?


Sorry guys there was a typo circle changes to 2 tangent lines

    There is no circle given in this question, and by definition any circle has ALL gradients.

    There should be two tangent lines, each with a different gradient.

    What circle? I see the equation of a parabola, and a point "outside of it", so two tangent lines do exist. How do you plan to make a circle from a parabola and two of its tangent lines?
