No, can't say as I ever did. I also was raised some on a farm, and had a horse that was 'general farm horse', did everything from plowing, pulling a wagon, to being a riding horse. At milking time, I'd mount up, and say, "Let's go bring up the cows (forgot name of horse...think it was "Bill"), and I'd only be along for the ride, as he'd almost smile at the order, takeoff trotting down to where the cows were grazing, and round them up, nipping them a little on the top of the root of their tail, to get them to hurry up, and herd them all the way back to the milking barn. i'd have nothing to do, but to make sure he found all of them. Ahhh...those were the worry free "good ole' days". No wars, no hard times, good government, etc . In the 1940s (after WW2) we were at peace, the STRONGEST NATION IN THE WHOLE WORLD, could have taken over for a world government of OURS, we didn't do that, we re-built the war torn countries, instead..
