If a doctor wants to discuss your mri scan with you that you had a week ago and discuss refferal to neurology. Could this be bad news?

    Perhaps yes. Depends on your symptoms.

    Maybe they have noticed something in the scan!?

    Just make the appointment and don't think about it until then.

    I had an HIV test done years ago at the health department. I worried sick about the results. When I came in the doctor had a very grim look on his face and was pretty much acting like one would if it was positive. Took him forever to say negative. Very mean for a person who very responsibly went in and did something right. Completly on my own whim. A lot of doctors love playing games.

    not necessarily. whatever it is, could be easily treatable. it's important to put a specific name to the problem so the correct treatment can be applied. and you usually need specialists to PRECISELY figure that out. good luck.
