Did my insurance cover my whole hospital bill?

I had a c section and stayed in the hospital for 2 days. I got a bill for something from the hospital or whatever but it didn’t seem like I was that much money. It’s been almost 4 months and didn’t really get anything from the hospital except like a $500 bill but that sounds kinda cheap for having a c section, anesthesia, the 2 day stay, etc. did my insurance pay for most/all of it or could it still come?

Did you receive any kind of explanation of benefits from your insurance company? If it's been four months I would assume they did pay all of it & you owe $500.00.

The $500 was either your deductible or co-pay. You could still get bills from the anesthesiologist, the surgeon, your doctor, etc.
