Transporting works for a taxi driver.

The sentence for the second one is odd, I'm assuming you were given everything other than the "FOR"?

I think she's a tourist who is going to take (a) bus TO the airport

I think she's a tourist who is going to take (the) bus FOR the airport

For however sounds wrong how you have it currently. If I had to choose I would put to.

    a) "I think she's a tourist who is going to take bus to the airport."

    b) "Taxi drivers always charge the same fare, whether they are transporting/carrying/taking 1 or 5 passengers." (although that's not always true)

for should be to the airport, the 2nd sentence sounds okay
