No, not all questions eventually get an answer. If a question goes unanswered for a week, it's deleted.

No, some of my questions have never been answered but I'm not aware that any have been deleted for that reason as one person suggests happens.

Answerers choose which questions they ( think they) can answer. So some stupid or difficult questions don get answered.

It depends on how many users are interested in the questions.

No, some go unanswered for whatever reason then Yahoo deletes the question after 7 days of no answers.

I would guess almost all are answered eventually. Even if by a troll.
All questions submitted are posted (a few get hung in the spam filter, but that's not the problem it was last year). Users see questions and answer what they choose to answer. In some very busy subcategories questions may be added very fast and so a question might get overlooked and move down low in the list and not get many/any answers OR a question might be posted in a very inactive or unused subcategory, so that question may not get any answers.
The site us run by server computers. No selection of questions to be answered is made. Questions post and they are answers or not answered based on which users see them and decide to answer (or know the answer). If a question is a violation of Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, it may be reported and removed before it gets any answers. There's also the issue of any Level 7 user being able to relocate any question to a different subcategory. Sometimes questions get intentionally and inappropriately. moved to dead subcategories to prevent them from being answered or enhance the chance they'll be reported.
No, some are never answered, never ever. That is the way he cookie crumbles.
