Spiritually speaking, why do humans delight in hurting others? Rape, murder, torture, mocking people who suffer. According to your faith?

Some people are just evil and lack love for God and his children.

This and similar expressions, such as “the final part of the days,” are used in Bible prophecy to refer to the time when historical events would reach a final climax. (Eze 38:16; Da 10:14; Ac 2:17) Depending on the nature of the prophecy, this may be a period covering just a few years or many. Most notably, the Bible uses this term regarding “the last days” of the present system of things, during Jesus’ invisible presence.—2Ti 3:1; Jas 5:3; 2Pe 3:3.

You are very confused if you think humans delighting in hurting others in rape, murder, torture, mocking people who suffer have anything whatsoever to do with our spiritual faith in God. Those things you mention are of the DEVIL, not God.

Jesus Christ has already commanded us to LOVE our enemies, BLESS those who curse us,, DO GOOD TO those who hate us, and PRAY FOR those who despitefully use us and persecute us. (Matthew 5:44)

So where do you get off saying those evil actions are of our faith in God.

    No way.

All human beings are born (spiritually) dead in trespasses and sins. We are born into Satan's kingdom of darkness, cut off from God and already on our way to hell on the Broad way to destruction.

That's why Jesus had to die for us, because we had no hope of ever being saved the despicable way we were, always wanting to do evil.

Because all humans were born in original sin of Adam and we grow up to sin too, Jesus said, "You MUST be born again, (John 3:3) of water (baptism) and Holy Spirit next time, or you CANNOT enter God's kingdom (John 3:5). You MUST be born again (John 6:6).

So please do not confuse humans with God, or our destructive and wicked behaviour and desires with God our Saviour who is perfect, blameless and sinless. There is no comparison.

If we receive Jesus Christ as Lord and obey Him in our lives, God will deliver us OUT OF Satan's kingdom of darkness and translate us INTO the kingdom of the Son of His Love (Colossians 1:13). Then He will also remove us from the broad road to destruction and plant us on the narrow way to Life everlasting (Matthew 7:14).

Humans delight in hurting others because that's our fallen nature. We are born inherently evil and wicked. That's why we MUST be born all over again - not of man next time not through our mother's natural womb, because that which is born of flesh is flesh, but that which is born of Spirit if spirit. So we need to be born again next time of God (John 1: 12 & 13)

Are you kidding with this? It's about power, among other factors. You gain power by going after groups or another. It's an easy, awful power that corrupts you, yes, but it's still about power. Rape is about power. Murder is about power. Torture is about power. Going after people in pain is about power. There's also a lack of empathy, a stripping away of another's humanity and worth. A mind set that 'they' deserve whatever happens to them. They should have obeyed the law, honey. Ever heard that one applied recently? Mm.

Religions teach a very us versus them dichotomy. If you're not for us, you're against us. See the answer about all the bad stuff is Satan's doing bullshit. It's very easy to divide people into neat disposable groups. See the Holocaust for examples. See what's going on in America at the southern border with BROWN-ONLY immigrants and asylum seekers and so forth. They're not human, They're cockroaches. They commit crimes. They're just here to take our jobs, get free stuff, ruin America, blah blah blah.

And many are cheering on being as cruel as possible to that set of folks. Build the wall. Border crisis. Separation of families by the so-called pro-life party...and you have to actually ask why, why, why, are people so mean? You can't use your eyeballs? Or go do some research into history or human psychology? Someone offering very simple awful solutions to complex problems should be a damn red flag. That that thing in the WH is cheering people on to hurt and harm and even kill other people...should be the line in the sand.

And yet you're here wondering why there's...good gravy. Power, honey. Oh and fear. Fear. Fear goads a lot of that. Fear also makes it okay to hurt others...cause they might hurt you. That's such a human reflex. There's so much fear right now and it's curdling the world right now. It's being used and turned into a tide that will have to be beaten back. Again. If you can't see this, you are an idiot.

Or how religions of all stripes teach mostly an us v. them mentality? Or that people are saying so and so deserve to suffer. Because they're not one of us. They don't share our values. They don't conform to how we think they should behave and speak. Good lord and pass the iron boot, kiddo.

Some people don't have a conscience or empathy.

It's why HRC called these people deplorable.

A person can live a more loving and virtuous life by reciting the rosary each day with care. Kindness and gentleness are fruits of the Holy Spirit!

That is ones that have decided to be followers of the devil!

Look back when prayers were still said in public schools, jails had empty cells, because crimes were rare back then.

It is the ones following the Devil that are as you ask!

  • Because wickedness is still among us, dear. Sin and its consequences have horrifying effects. But when He wills it, God will put an end to wickedness, and all those who run to it. So do your best to follow God's way, dear.
