Does anyone else think people were more attractive in the 1940s-1970s era?

People then were thinner and dressed better.

Well the average woman in the US wore a size 12 or 14. many styles of the high fashion designers were copied. Not so sure that people dressed better, just more stylish.

No. Clothes were horrible in the 1940s - they were rationed, by the way, and no, people were not thinner.

People were thinner- there wasn't so much fast food, and people weren't as affluent and couldn't afford to eat out. But you also have to remember that pictures were rarer and people dressed up for them.
