Why am I a psychopath?
There is plenty of information about how to classify people with an anti-social disorder.
My focus is on the why. Are we born that way? Do we develop the traits by which we are described?

You are not born that way, you become that way.

You are probably just an angsty teen that is using edginess as a defence mechanism to not deal with and escape the reality of your painfull and horrible ego devastating life. Stop wasting time living in your fantasy world and reading crap about personality disorders online and fix your life. Being a psychopath does not make you special, unique or interesting. You are probably an edgy socially inept outcast with social anxiety. Real psychopaths are busy raping, killing, shooting up schools, stealing, leading the world, getting laid or rotting in prison. They dont care about yahoo answers. Did you self diagnose with psychopathy by reading about it online? Do you realize how much cringe that is? In the less likely case you got diagnosed by a real doctor you might want to ask him.

Antisocial personality disorder is a mental disorder diagnosed in adulthood, it has its precedent in childhood. The DSM-5's criteria for ASPD require that the individual have conduct problems evident by the age of 15. They are often impulsive and reckless, failing to consider and disregarding the consequences of their actions. They repeatedly disregard and jeopardize their own safety and the safety of others and place themselves and others in danger. Conduct disorder is a disorder diagnosed in childhood that parallels the characteristics found in ASPD and is characterized by a repetitive and persistent pattern of behavior in which the basic rights of others or major age-appropriate norms are violated. Children with the disorder often display impulsive and aggressive behavior, may be callous and deceitful, and may repeatedly engage in petty crime such as stealing or vandalism or get into fights with other children and adults.

psychopaths are born like that and usually they exhibited psychopathic traits at an early age, like being cruel to small animals.
