Have you heard about the Amazon Rainforest that it’s on fire at the moment?

I read online about it. It has been like this for 3 weeks, and the smoke is seen in outer space. It has reached several nearby cities due to the wind blowing it. What would you call this sudden occurrence?

    Deforestation is the biggest contributor to the forests recent inflammability because it's no longer able to sustain it's natural ability to be fire repellent, because it's humidity & moisture has been lost
