Are there many insects, flies and mosquitoes in Arizona?

    Most parts, yes,,in tons. Havasu has got to be bug central. Even the Sonora desert at night, all the creepy crawlies come out of nowhere. About time for the annual tarantula waltz, watch where you step in the back yard. Not so much mozzies though.

    Yes there are. I lived in Tucson, AZ for a year. The scorpions are BIG, not relatively small like they are in central Oklahoma.

    Of course. Insects are everywhere, even in the driest of deserts. Arizona is not all desert, it has forests and brushland in the higher altitudes.

    Yes the place is crawling with bugs but they only swarm at night because it's too hot during the daytime.
