Are we all avoiding making a new US Constitution mainly because conservatives know the new one won't have gun rights in it?

Shouldn't we have a more effective, more democratic system?

The Trump admin has showed that the US Constitution is weak and highly flawed and requires a TOTAL rewrite

The US Constitution is STRONG and our forefathers were smarter than this generation. The problem with America is that she has forgotten the God who made her strong and blessed her greatly.

You can change the laws without changing the Constitution. And you don't need a new Constitution, you can amend the current one. If there was a will to eliminate gun rights that could be done so why aren't you gun critics doing it?

No one is even interested in a constitutional convention. And you are wrong. The Second Amendment will never be repealed. The system we have is serving us well for over 200 years. Look at all of the opinions involved: 435 in the House, 100 in the Senate, 2 in the administration, 50 in the 50 states. Try to get these disparate groups to agree on anything.

We Constitutional Conservatives actually understand the Great Wisdom of our Grandfathers and agree with their efforts to assure Liberty for all responsible American Citizens.

If you understood anything you would Know the Constitution can be change Constitutionally and it does Not need to be "rewritten". There is a process for Amending the Constitution. Use it Constitutionally.

If you wish to repeal the Second Amendment use That method and we shall see how that works out for you.

You're free to propose all the amendments you like; just don't hold your breath.

actually 17 states have passed laws calling for a new constitutional convention, its takes 35 states before one is called

since the majority of states are controlled by republicans and it only takes 35 states to approve the new constitution.

ya';ll liberals are gonna be very pissed off at the new constitution

especially when we add an amendment making it legal for conservatives to shoot any liberals on sight

you no longer have a country if you allow your constitution to be tampered with .. that document was a 'unique' break in history from the oppression of human beings that gave them rights and worth .. if you want to destroy it you deserve to be hung imo .. ..

The Constitution has provisions for a new Constitutional Convention. Democrats are unlikely to ever agree to one because they know their little game would be up. LOL
