Yes! Extremely contagious! This scientific medical fact was discovered accidentally during humanitarian efforts in the most inaccessible regions of the Congo back in 1927.

A group of doctors, scientists, a couple of Jehovah Witnesses (with bicycles), and a collection of artists, journalists, photographers, literary writers, singer/songwriters, Union representatives, some radical outcasts, a pharmacological scientist researcher, legal representation, movers, shakers, pickers, packers, gun bearers and the entire village of a local tribe of natives to haul Liquior, food, and camp necessities.

Their mission...were they to complete it...was to find a cure for the most pressing of maladies affecting millions of women everywhere. "Womens' Complaint"...

Instead...what they discovered...would be a tightly guarded secret for decades...hopefully, forever! BUT.. secrets are hard held, especially when dealing with (ssssssush...homosexuality).

It turned out that the jazz musician liked to blow the meat flute. He was as queer as a $3.00 bill. He was also patient Zero.

Six months later having failed in their mission and returning to their headquarters at F5ire Island, New York it was discovered the socially and cultural taboo disease of homosexuality was in fact...CONTAGIOUS!

Since that time the contagion was brought back...it has slowly been infecting everyone in the country...9

No because that person is born gay. It cannot be contagious.

    Nothing is "sociologically" contagious.

The assumption that anyone would accept sociology as ground truth of anything is absurd.  Sociology is strictly theory and opinion.

Not real homosexuality. You do get loads of teens all saying they're various types of "queer" but only 1-2 of them actually are gay. The rest all end up in straight relationships. The proportion of adult gays stays the same, the proportion of teens claiming to be some kind of "gay" is large, but survey them again in 12 years. They've disappeared.

On such a personal matter, people either are or they aren't.  It's not a choice.

Is heterosexuality?  If your friends weren't heterosexual, would you've never caught the bug?  And if sexuality is contagious, why haven't homosexuals caught it?

Use your brain, if you even have one.

Humanity can survive without homo but it cannot survive without hetero so hetero doesnt need to be contagious to survive itself.

    Interesting question.

In some societies such as ancient Greece, young men experimenting with homosexual behavior during adolescence was considered the norm and adult homosexuals were accepted as is.

It wasn't until the Greeks had trading ports in Palestine, Babylon and Egypt that Hebrew adolescents were exposed to this culture and the Hebrews (being the Chosen Race of God) forbade it.
