Why do feminists say male only clubs are sexist while at the same time they advocate the need for women only clubs and spaces?

Isn’t that a bit hypocritical?

Again, according to feminists, anything that advantages women is empowering and good. Anything that advantages men is misogynistic and evil.

I'm fine with male-only clubs. They're gross of course but legal.

"Why do feminists say male only clubs are sexist while at the same time they advocate the need for women only clubs and spaces?"

Because feminists are not egalitarians as most feminists insist they are, by pointing at the dictionary definition. They are a women's only advocacy group that advocates beyond equal Rights and equality for women.  This has become all too obvious over the last few decades where all women and men have been born into full legal equality.

And this is where the lack of any official feminist platform in the modern age confuses everyone. What is it they are actually trying to achieve now in our post-equal Rights first world? Because it's actions like these that make a complete mockery of the original First Wave Feminist ideals regarding equal Rights.

Now if feminists were to properly state that they were trying to bring egalitarianism to social issues, then even these actions would show that to not be true. And the forcing of girls into Boy Scouts, while exempting boys from being able to enter Girl Guides (on a technicality) is another non-equality type behavior. It's the same thing everywhere men gathered. But feminists INSIST that when it comes to women and their spaces, it's different.  And they demand the privilege to smash men's only spaces, but create their own.

And then they appeal to biology. That women are weaker and need protection from men. But this goes against everything that feminists originally said in order to have women gain equal Rights and Responsibilities.

Feminists told us that women needed, and wanted equal Rights and full emancipation so they could take care of themselves as legally autonomous individuals. But now they insist that the whole society must protect them just how it was before they had all their Rights anyway.

Which one do they want? Fully equality and agency? or for society to take care of them by handing over some of their rights in order for society to be able to do that for them?  Because it's hypocritical to try to get the best of both worlds.

Probably because the reasons to have them tend to be different...

Men only: "Because we think women aren't as good as us, so no girls allowed."

Women only: "The weirdos among the men can't act creepy to me here."

There is no stupid socialized crap that keeps men out of something because society stupidly believes that they're "inferior" as a gender. Men don't have to deal with that insult. (Individually seeing it aside.) Girls and women always have had to however, which is probably where the feeling comes from that its sexist in some cases.

It is indeed. As I've said many times before..... Once upon a time there were three doors. 'Men Only'. 'Women Only'. And 'Both'. But some women thought that was sexist and unfair - so now there are only two doors. 'Women Only'. And 'Both'. Still some 'Men Only' doors. But make no mistake. These awful women are determined to get rid of that. DID YOU KNOW that 'Boy Scouts of America' now allows GIRLS to join? Pathetic.

No, because men have power. Particularly, straight white middle-class-to-rich men.
