How to fundraise for a non-charitable performance?

Hey! Me and my friends have been doing a live show in our school of 1400 people for a couple years now. The shows are always great but they are tiring and require months of rehearsal, so we’re doing our final show in 6 months time. The estimated expenses are £160 and although we can cover a small portion of the cost we need to fundraise for quite a lot of that amount. What would you suggest? Any help is appreciated, thankyou 🥰

What some people do here in the states is to conduct a "car wash" on a Saturday to raise monies for school events. Have it in a place with access to a water hose. Everyone brings buckets, sponges and car detergent, charge $5.00 per car and make sure you make flyers to invite everyone especially the parents while the front man spins the sign/ Follow your local laws for approval...

Charge one shilling for admission, non-refundable.

Sell advertising space, get the event sponsored by a local business, or sell tickets. You could try bake sale, or other fundraiser ideas usually used for charities.

160 pounds over 6 months should be doable.

    Sell tickets to the show.
