Does anyone know what this bug is? ?

I’ve tried so many things but I’m at a loss. Sometimes I find them on walls and random places but most of the time I find them on the window sill. I’ve never seen them fly and their usually alone. I have no idea where their coming from. They are small and very slow, almost like their dead! I had to zoom in to capture them, but the quality is not great.

I am thinking a dermestid beetle, sort of carpet beetle, grain beetle, larder beetle.

They scavenge on stuff like dead skin flakes, grains, sort of one of natures janitor bugs. They can be a pest in numbers, easy to rid though. A downside with them is they may also feed on natural fibers in clothing like cloths moth.

As I learned the hard way, they also love to munch on insect collections.

I'd guess that it's probably a carrion beetle, family Silphidae.
