Is it racist that Google Translate doesn't have ebonics as an option?
I am unable to communicate with my good friend Shaniqua.

They should add Aboriginal languages as an option for Google Translate

No, it is not. Ebonics is not actually a language dialect. Shaniqua is capable of understanding regular spoken English; she simply uses a lot of slang.

Yes. Everything is racist these days.

Where is a country called "Ebonica"?

Not racist at all.. I guess they can't put ALL the languages of the planet.

Ebonics is not a language, but you are a racist troll.

No, it's just simple economics. GT could add Frisian - a language with a mere half million speakers - because a lot of Frisians have access to the internet, knowledge of several foreign languages, and the time to invest in improving GT. GT relies on the "wisdom of the crowd". It doesn't "understand" a thing, but when someone asks for a translation, it checks how many in the "community" have said that a certain translation is correct.
the amount of people who can translate between Ebonics and languages other than English is negligible

It doesn't translate US English either.

You don't need Google translate to understand ebonics; you just have to listen to your good friend without judgment.
