How do I know if my supervisor thinks I am not good enough?

I am doing a research project for 6 weeks and this is my week 2. I just finished my 2nd year of physics and math double major. I feel really stupid doing the project. It takes me time to digest what my professor wants me to do and then I take a long time to code properly. I am feeling horrible, and have started to think that I am not good enough. He used to check on me last week but from this week, he lets me do what I am supposed to do. I ask him for help but he does not even try to look at my code. I am feeling that he has given up on me. I feel stupid. What should I do?

He is not a good supervisor. He is shy away to tell you the important things.
