Differences between Embraer 175 Basic and MD88? and feelings about it?
thanks I think ive travelled on both before in my life. cool 1 time i got sit on extra seat but away from my family that time. haha
but im not sure . I know they both have one aisle, and both have two turbofans..

The 2 aircraft are completely different. Let's start with the MD-88 entered service in 1979 compared to the 175 in 2005. The MD-88 has 2 engines located aft attached to the fuselage while the 175 has 2 engines located on the wings. the 175 can carry at most 88 passengers while the MD-88 can carry upwards of 170 passengers.
Most MD-88s have been retired from service.
So not sure why the comparison
