Is there a way to digitally correct Al Jolson's black-face scene in The Jazz Singer or should it be cut out and banned?

"Should it be cut out and banned"? Black face was simply an entertainment form from a bygone era comrade. No need to try and "correct" American history. It is a done deal. All the good the bad and the ugly of it.

Idiotic idea. Check out Fred Astaire's blackface number in Swing Time. Great!

That would be propoganda. I imagine you want to think, "Oh, no, because we are the GOOD guys". Altering truth to suit a political agenda is propoganda. It was what it was. You don't like it, don't watch it.

I've always wondered what the SJWs would think about someone who dressed as Al Jolson for Halloween, complete with black face.

Old movies should never be changed. There was nothing wrong with it at the time it was produced.
