Why is the religious right supporting Donald Trump?

He has had extra-marital affairs with Porn Stars and  Playboy Playmates, and God knows who else. He has lied and exaggerated to the American People repeatedly. Yet a significant portion of the religious right still supports him, will literally "fall on their sword" for him. Why I ask you??

No one claims Trump is some sort of model Christian. But what he does do is have great respect for 1st Amendment religious liberties for Christians and others. This is why Christian groups flock to him. Their rights and freedoms are protected while he's around.
