Why do people have their heads stuck in their devices like iPhones, tablets and laptops when you're missing out on human interaction?

It is anti-social to be on your device when somebody you know is present like at a table in a restaurant or in a house for instance and it can also be very rude as well. If someone was to ask you for a handshake, would you be willing to put your device down and interact with that person by also giving a handshake? Today's world of technology and social media is to blame for lack of human interaction and ignorance. There are people who are self absorbed that they lack people awareness.

Social norms have led us to this point. It is rude and I do not allow it in my house.
