small ones will do it provided you are the size of a FLY.   You need a hell of a lot of plants to make a difference in your home.(meaning your front and back lawn and all the shrubbery and all the flowers and all the trees you have in your yard is NOT ENOUGH.    So it is a pretty big small plant.

A small air conditioning plant would be ideal.

Unless you want to live in a jungle you would be better off with the window open.

Plants indoors usually improve the feeling of your home, but they can also introduce damp and mold spores.

All plants purify the home. You need a bunch of plants. Ivy, palms, Spider plant, peace lily, sword ferns are great ones to purify air.

One of the easiest indoor plants to maintain, the Spider Plant produces oxygen whilst purifying the air in your home and office by absorbing carbon monoxide, formaldehyde and xylene. Additionally, Spider Plants are non-toxic and are in fact edible, making them safe for pets and young children.

Plant's don't purify air, and a 'small' plant will make absolutely no difference to the quality of air in the room.

Air purifier/filter or keep the windows open will.

House Plants are more for your psychological well being then purifying the air in the room.

Yes, Photosynthesis put basically is plants creating oxygen. This does not purify the air. and a small plant isn't going to make anywhere near enough oxygen to make any kind of difference. It's a house plant, not a forest.

Any leafy green plant would do that. Pothos are easy to grow.
