is "Love Island" similar to the tv show "Jeremy Kyle"? why some think so? do same people watch both? which types of people & why?

which age groups and types of people like these shows? why?

    The sort of people who want to go on 'reality' shows are basically damaged. Whether it is Love Island, TOWIE, Jeremy Kyle,The Apprentice or X Factor. It is a cheap way of filling airtime. Celebrity versions of shows seem to feature people the average viewer has never heard of. If the viewing figures are to be believed the format is in decline as most realise that, far from reality, a lot of the stuff is faked for the cameras

      why do you think that Love Island show has now had FOUR suicide deaths now in the past couple of years? including now their former presenter

    Obviously they are nothing like each other, and neither has anything to do with travel.
