Can a covert narcissist be capable of introspection?

    Do you mean insight? I guess no, a Narcissist has no empathy, neither for himself nor for the others human beings. 

    Then a Narcissist often hates/despises psychology because he is scared of it. He thinks that Psychology can unmask him, ruining the perfect fake image that he created of himself as "good/perfect/sane person".

    Yes and they may think they can genuinely make a difference to the world

    "Covert narcissist" isn't a thing. There's only one diagnosis of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. And yes, people with NPD are capable of everything you're capable of- some things are just harder for them than they are for you.
