If your haircut costs 16 dollars, how much should be left as a tip? ?

    3 to 4 dollars to round up to 20

    It's not a question of 'should', but in that case I would round it up to $20.

    I get the feeling that the people who are saying that they'd give $20 tip are actually saying that they'd give a $4 tip, which would round the total cost up to $20. I'd give $4 too btw :)

    Depends how well they did it, how long you had to wait .. I'd say leave 4 and call it a day.

    Depends on how pleased you were with the cut.

    If you were extremely satisfied, 15-20% would be a reasonable tip.
