how to connect a desk top microphone?

    It depends on what kind of device you're connecting it to and what type of connection the microphone is. Some are a 3.5mm male jack, some are USB. If it's USB just plug it in to a USB port, if it's the 3.5mm jack look at the computer you're plugging it in to. It should have a mic port, a small hole for that type of jack. The port for the mic will have a little icon that looks like a microphone next to it.

    Plug it into the sound card or the "mic" socket on the motherboard. If the plug doesn't fit, post a picture of it or take it to a store.
