Is there a difference between special needs and disability?

    Special needs can actually refer to over achievers. Their special needs would include a more mature setting more suited to their level of intelligence. For instance, a 10 year old going to college as remaining in school slows their potential. Special needs obviously also refers to anyone with a disability, as these special needs maybe support, special equipment, etc, all to help them manage and succeed.
