Why won't my iPhone 6s stop shutting down even when full charged?

I've had the phone for almost 5 years now and it started being really temperamental about a month ago. I've restarted it and it is ok for about 2 days before I need to do it again. I was hoping it could last till the end of this year, but it makes it hard to hold out when it shuts down every time I try to use it.

Thanks for the advice in advance.

Start by having the battery replaced.

If you never let the battery discharge all the way sometimes its may look charge but it forms a dead spot in it where you do let it discharge too....get a new battery......

It is 5 years old, it sounds like the battery is shot. Its replace the battery or time to upgrade the phone.
