Do I have to be vegan?

Yeah I do like certain vegetables and fruit but I also like dairy and meat.

Hi 19, 73 says you don't have to do anything you don't want to.

IMHO, there are only three reasons to live -- Sex, Food, and Fun.

"I do not like food, I love it.  If I don't love it, I don't swallow."

I am retired, I LOVE my cooking.  Vegan and vegetarian reduces what you can have.  BLEAH!   The flavors with meat is fabulous, all different flavors.  I eat less than 20% animal, over 75% vegetable, wirh about 5% fungi -- mushrooms.  I love mushrooms.  I use a lot of onion and bell peppers.

You have no need to go veg[etari]an at all. It is an individual choice.

No, you don’t, but you can be vegan if you want to.

People aren't vegan for their taste buds usually, but because they consider that eating animals is morally unacceptable ecologically, environmentally, spiritually, etc. I stopped eating nearly forty years ago (before we recognised the ecological damage it does to the planet), and I did miss it, but got used to it quickly enough. I am sure that there will come a time when people will stop eating meat altogether, but probably not in your lifetime. Evolution is gradual. Fifty years ago the idea of banning smoking in restaurants and cinemas would have been considered draconian.

You don't HAVE to be anything you are not comfortable with. Eating less animal protein is a lot better for you, but you have to make that choice, and if veganism isn't working for you, then do what will work for you.

No, you don't have to be vegan if you don't want to be. If someone else is trying to force you to be vegan, they are wrong. If you are old enough to live on your own, you should have the freedom to make that choice. If you still live with your parents, you follow their rules and eat what they fix. Like I said, if you no longer live with your mom and dad and are out on your own, it becomes your choice.
