They'll probably see it as something scary and tragic, but I think they would also see all the humor and music people used to get through it.

The Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918 killed a lot more people than the Corona virus is projected to kill.  Many people have not even heard of the Spanish Flu.  So 100 years from now virtually no one will have firsthand memory and few will have even heard of the Corona.

AI shouldn't confound life attributes of humans. Plug and play replacing human intellect, is hazardous to human life.

News cited 8 different strains, which follow chronologically in pattern of development? Issue with animal infection potential I believe is important to prevent reintroduction or reinfection. It is a lot of work to prepare for anticipated spread among people who know how to cooperate. Wildlife is a completely different environment and they don't quarantine. Or self shelter.  If they do catch a form and it mutates it may not affect all people but different animals which necessitates a different vaccine. If they find animals with antibodies it may shorten time anticipated to develope vaccine for people.
