How many more weeks of quarantine?
Things seem to actually be getting worse. More deaths and more cases. So why are people saying only a few more weeks?

I really don't know but we really should count our blessings and knock it off with the complaining. We have homes, even if we're living on bread and beans, we have food. We have water, we have electricity. We are safe. We have got to learn to be humble, show more respect and honor this request, order, restriction, whatever it's called. What amazes me is I see the MOST complaining from people (not here on Yahoo) who have lovely homes, all these stupid game systems that I don't understand, big yards, basketball hoops, lots of friends, family .. etc. They have it all, yet they complain. SO MANY live with much less and are much more grateful. Whatever the time may be, we have to do it not only for ourselves and our families, but for everyone else too.

Because if we stay cooped up any longer we will begin to kill each other with bullets.

It could be just a few more weeks, even less - IF only people would listen and take this virus seriously. That's the problem. We are ALL supposed to be social distancing yet too many people are not paying any attention. They are arrogant, self-centered and selfish. Those are the ones who are still frolicking on the beach, vacationing, having a good time - and catching the virus, and spreading it to others. So it could be all over in a brief period of time - that would be nice, but it likely won't happen. Just like the President said - it would be nice if people were back to work by Easter, but it won't happen unless EVERYBODY follows the recommendations of the medical experts and the CDC.

It was the financial experts who are partly to blame for this. They are so obsessed with a global economy that they have placed us all in peril.
These same people want to downplay the risk to us all by pretending (and hoping) that this global pandemic will just go away in a few weeks.
Sadly they are delusional.
I want these financial experts to learn from this experience and promote more self sufficiency within each country. That way borders can be closed if necessary and we are all protected to a greater degree. Sadly politicians won't introduce such measures, because they are too heavily influenced by individuals obsessed with profit at all costs.
Just listen to the way they speak and the concepts they promote. Acceptable loss of human life seems to be okay by them, provided profit is maximised.
