How will the government know where to automatic deposit my check if I don't have auto deposit on my tax return?

    They won't.  I assume they will mail you one.

    They won't, will mail you a check to the most recent address they have for you. Unless you get ss, then they might get your bank info from there or might just go with a mailed check..

    The media stated if the IRS doesn't have your direct deposit information on file they will send you a paper check.

    At this time, its thought that those who did not use direct deposit will be mailed a paper check.
