why did Germans only show up in history of mankind only beginning with the last century ?
they weren't even known by their own name , before the first world war and the colonial race , they were a band of mercenaries fighting for other people . their girls would go elsewhere like to Russia to get married to russian royals . like Katherine who was of german ancestry ...
anyone who tries to convince you otherwise is lying , they were even ashamed to name their own country after their race . they would call it the Holy Roman empire ...

Germany was a collection of states until the late 19th century, as was Italy and of course the USA.
Similarly other countries have split up into their previous constituent parts in the 20th century, notably the Soviet Union ,Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia.
It’s called history.

The region was called Germania by the Romans and the tribes that inhabited it were referred to collectively as Germani or by their tribal affiliation.
Your question/statement above, is so riddled with inaccuracy and outright falsehoods I'm not sure you aren't just trolling.

Germany was a loose association of individual kingdoms until they were unified in the late 19th century. I guess you never heard of Bavaria, Prussia, Wurttemberg, Baden, Saxony....

Interesting view considering the Romans called the territory in what we call Germany, Germania. Caligula's father had as one of his names Germanicus.

The Battle of the Teutoburg Forest by Roman historians, took place in the Teutoburg Forest in 9 CE, when an alliance of Germanic tribes ambushed and destroyed three Roman legions and their auxiliaries.
