    Compare Trials 1 and 2:

    [B]ₒ is kept constant. When [A]ₒ is triple, the initial rate is also about triple.

    Hence, the reaction order with respect to A = 1

    Compare Trial 2 and 4:

    [A]ₒ is kept constant. When [B]ₒ is doubled, the initial rate is unchanged.

    Hence, the reaction order with respect to B = 0

    The answer: A) Rate = k [A]
