If someone flunks out of trade school do they most likely have a learning disability?

No. Trade school is no picnic. If someone is not inclined toward one of the trades, that person may flunk out because they would be better off in a regular high school.

No. But it sounds like they've lacked an interest in what they're doing. Too many kids today need to be entertained by what they do instead of being INVESTED in what they do.

Lack of interest and drug habit are also possibilities.

It does not necessarily mean that they have a learning disability. They might have chosen the wrong trade for them. If they find something that they like, they will put in the time to make it right. The right teacher can teach any Hockey Puck how to do something if the student wants to learn it. If a student is not absorbing it, then they are most likely not interested in it. Drugs and alcohol could also be in play when people fail out.
