The drive could only be salvaged enough to get your data off. After that it wouldn't be reused.

You would need to send the drive to data recovery specialists where they can attempt to run some microjumpers to connect the broken pieces enough to get the flash drive working to copy off your data.

Just google "data recovery + your local city" to get some suggestions. They are not cheap often charging 10s or 100s of $ for flash drive data recovery

The data can be recovered, but it will be quite expensive.

    Thumb drives are very inexpensive.

Thankyou for your response, any idea how I could retrieve the data? Got hundreds of holiday photos which are sentimental. Thanks

Depends on how it is broken. Not enough detail to guess if it is fixable.

If the drive is broken into six separate parts, it probably is not fixable. But if the end is only slightly bend you might be able to carefully bend it back into shape.

Or it could be an issue with the physical drive being fine, but it is not reading the files. We would need to know if you can see anything on the drive, what errors you get, etc.

    All have different solutions.
