Do you prefer to bread whatever before you fry or bread and let it soak in for hours for a heartier crust?
I know I going to fry up some dinner I like breading before hand with flour I added mad spice too as to let it soak in.. I don't even use egg wash anymore... crust thinner I get but you spent all that money on the meat, that's what I wanna taste..

If you want a bit of crust and still want the flavor of the meat, season the meat with your spices and/or herbs and toss it with corn starch. That's what most places use on their "unbreaded" wings.
