1/2 ln4 - 1 as a single logarithm in simplest form?

    You can bring the 1/2 inside the logarithmic function so that you have ln(4^(1/2)) which is ln(2). Then you can transform the -1 into -ln(e). Finally, since you have ln(2)-ln(e), you can make the function ln(2/e)

    If (1/2)ln4 - 1 then it's ln(2/e)
