I have ringworm on my hands, is it bad if I keep wearing latex gloves?

I don't know if I'm doing something good or something stupid. I have ringworm on both of the back of my hands. To keep them clean and stop spending it to other body parts and to other people, I wash them with soap, dry them, put sanitizer and then wear latex gloves all the time. My question is, is it bad if I keep wearing latex gloves?

latex gloves will make ringworm worse, you can buy creams from the chemists, or get stronger steriod creams from the doctor.

if you want to wear gloves then get loose cotton gloves

Latex gloves are going to cause you to sweat most likely.  You can get an over the counter med to help get rid of that.... a few are miconazole (Cruex), clotrimazole (Desenex) and terbinafine (Lamisil).  and if you have to wear gloves, maybe cotton gloves would be better so your skin can breathe.

You are doing just about everything wrong!  Excessive use of soaps and sanitizers remove the fats and oils that protect the skin from fungal infections, and gloves trap moisture as other have mentioned.  Ringworm is easy to get rid of on the hands.  Apply Nizoral shampoo when bating and let it sit for a couple of minutes and then apply an antifungal cream several per day.   It should take only around 3 days to see an improvement.

Latex gloves stops your skin from breathing, hot and sweaty will make it worse. Not a good idea.

You have to get medication from a doctor for that. It is just gonna get worse If you don't and it will spread to the rest of your body.

Ringworm is a fungal infection. Any moisture will stop it healing well. This includes sweat buildup inside your latex gloves. If you feel a need to cover it, use cotton gauze.
