Someone has driven over a nail. The car tire loses 1/10th of the air in it every 3 days. Luckily, this person checks his air tire pressure regularly. When they check it, they are shocked to find their car at 25 psi. They recall driving past a construction site 7 days ago where they thing they punctured their tire. What is the original pressure of the tire?

In the real world, NO ONE will compute or even have the ability to compute for the original pressure of the tire. The person will just get the tire repaired when the tire has a nail on it. Transfer your question to the Math category. And the answer is 31.57 psi.
