Why didn't Westerners permanently settle in Africa after wiping out the natives the same way they did in the Americas and Australia?

Why didn't Westerners permanently settle in Africa(and all other places of the world) after wiping out the natives the same way they did in the Americas and Australia?

Or is there any plan to do so in the future?

Just curious

They did - in some places.  Like South Africa, for example.

In other places, it was different Westerners, with different goals.

And yet despite their resistance, they were still clapped into irons and shipped off to be American slaves.
