Racial profiling; discriminatory behaviour and over zealous policing matter to everyone. A person does not have to be black or American to want to register their disgust at the perceived misuse of power. If it can happen to one person, it can happen to you or me. OK, the circumstances may be different but the principle is the same. For evil to win, it is necessary only that good people say nothing.

People are protesting in solidarity all over the world. It's not just Britain.

The eyes of the world are on America and we do not like what we are seeing.

    Edited to add:

OP, you keep commenting 'hypocrites' on every response to your question. Are you trying to say that the sort of protests and violence seen in America recently is also seen in other countries and therefore no one else has the right to comment on what's happening?

Unfortunately for you, the scenes we're seeing from America ARE pretty much unheard of, apart from in war torn countries. Most civilised countries do not have militarized police forces who use brutality against their citizens. Sure, no country is perfect but to call us hypocrites for denouncing the shameful behaviour in America is nothing more than head in the sand whataboutism.

I understand that you're proud of your country and don't like it when people from other countries say bad things about it but the fact is, America is currently an absolute sh1tshow and sh1thole country overrun by sh1tty people. America SUCKS and you calling us hypocrites doesn't change that in the slightest.

It's called "having empathy for fellow human beings." You should try it some time.

Solidarity. Do you honestly think people of color aren't discriminated against in the UK? Where the hell do you think American racism originally came from?

You mean police brutality against black people doesn't exist in the UK?
