Whenever Trump is criticized, why do Conservatives constantly deflect to someone else like Obama or Biden? ?

When Trump's actions are specifically questioned, the conversation is almost always deflected and distracted by pointing the blame to someone or something else. That removes him from taking any responsibility for any mistakes he may have made. Do they not see the problem with that?

Do Conservatives really believe Trump is that perfect, makes no mistakes? Do you really not hold Trump accountable for any mistakes?

Conservatives know of Trump's weaknesses and deflect a conversation away from them.

For the same reason Obama supporters deflected to Bush whenever Obama was criticized.

Funny, I've been seeing some criticisms of Democrats answered with, "But Trump..."

Sometimes, it is done because the criticism is for an action that was ALSO done by a Democrat.  We are curious why it is bad for one person to do it, but OK for another.

Don't worry, we're all to some extent hypocrites.  It's human nature.

For example, all the outrage over the border patrol putting illegals into detention areas surrounded by chain link fences under Trump, when no such outrage was expressed when Obama did it.

It shows how hypocrites like you support people who have the same issues you criticize Trump for, and often times the left are openly hypocrites.

tu quoque = You avoided having to engage with criticism by turning it back on the accuser - you answered criticism with criticism.

Pronounced too-kwo-kwee. Literally translating as 'you too' this fallacy is also known as the appeal to hypocrisy. It is commonly employed as an effective red herring because it takes the heat off someone having to defend their argument, and instead shifts the focus back on to the person making the criticism.

Example: Nicole identified that Hannah had committed a logical fallacy, but instead of addressing the substance of her claim, Hannah accused Nicole of committing a fallacy earlier on in the conversation.

In short, when you can't defend your position with reason and evidence you turn to defending your position with fallacies aka BS.

Simply because it is impossible and downright ridiculous to try and defend the orange shitstain.

All they got left is to invent garbage on others.

The Trump conservatives believe the ideology is more important than character, honesty, integrity, civility, ethics, morality, hypocrisy, and decency.  Deflection and distraction is part of their tool kit.

Because it means you don't have to defend your position.  You say, "The sky is green". And I say, "No it's not, the sky is blue". And then you say, "the oceans are also drying up". And I have to decide which lie/falsehood to dispute.
