1. A speaker who inherited an employment rate of 4.6 percent and after peaking at 10 percent, reduced to 9.1 percent.

2. A speaker who inherited an unemployment of 4 percent, is currently at 14.7 percent and likely to be as high as 25 percent.

    The Speaker of the House has nothing to do with employment other than leading the vote on government construction projects.
